course aims in Estonian
- tutvustada graafilise kommunikatsiooni põhimõtteid ja digitaalsete esitlustehnikate võimalusi;
- luua terviklik ettekujutus arhitektuurigraafika töövõtetest ning oskus neid rakendada objektide ja keskkonna graafilise kujutamisel, arendada täpsust ja vormilist korrektsust nii abstraktsetes kui kujutavates ülesannetes;
- anda ülevaade digitaalsete esitlustehnikate võimalustest ja piirangutest keskendudes kujundusprogrammidele (Adobe CC);
- tagada küllaldane ettevalmistus esitluseks vajalikke arvutiprogramme kasutada (fototöötlus; vektorgraafika; tüpograafia) ning teadmisi vastavalt eesmärgile iseseisvalt täiendada;
- arendada oskusi visualiseerida mahukamaid ideid-projekte arvutis terviklikuks esitluseks.

- to introduce the basic tools of graphic communication and presentation methods and to attain a thorough understanding of 2-dimensional composition structures;
- to create a comprehensive understanding of work methods and develop practical skills of a graphical depiction and modelling architectural objects and the environment, develop the precision and formal accuracy in abstract and figurative tasks;
- to give a survey of the possibilities and limitations of digital techniques of presentation, focusing on designing programs (Adobe CC).
- to guarantee sufficient preparedness for independent presentations, using necessary computer-programs (photo-managing, vector-graphics, typography) and to develop oneself independently according to particular goals;
- to acquire methods of visualization of extensive ideas/projects in computer for complex presentations.

- omab ülevaadet graafilise kommunikatsiooni põhimõtetest ja tunneb digitaalsete esitlustehnikate võimalusi;
- tunneb arhitektuurigraafika töövõtteid ja oskab neid rakendada objektide ja keskkonna graafilisel kujutamisel, arendab täpsust ja vormilist korrektsust nii abstraktsetes kui kujutavates ülesannetes;
- omab ülevaadet digitaalsete esitlustehnikate võimalustest ja piirangutest, tunneb Adobe CC kujundusprogramme;
- oskab kasutada esitluseks vajaminevaid arvutiprogramme (fototöötlus; vektorgraafika; tüpograafia) ja suudab vastavalt eesmärgile oma teadmisi iseseisvalt täiendada;
- oskab mahukamaid ideid-projekte visualiseerida arvutis terviklikuks esitluseks.

Graafilise kommunikatsiooni põhimõtted. Joone ja pinna graafika. Esitusmeetodid, aksonomeetria, lineaarperspektiiv. Kompositsiooni võtted. Objektide ja keskkonna graafiline kujutamine. Digitaalsete esitlustehnikate põhialused, mõisted. Esitluse kavandamine, sobivate rakenduste valik. Fototöötlus. Vektorgraafika. Tüpograafia. Trükiettevalmistus.
brief description of the course in English
Principles of graphic communication. Graphics of line and surface. Presentation techniques, axonometric and perspective drawing. Compositional techniques. Depicting natural and artificial-technical environments. The basics of digital techniques, concepts; designing of a presentation, choice of different solutions, photo-managing, vector graphics, typography, preparations for printing.
