brief description of the course in Estonian
Elektrienergia tõhusa muundamise valdkonna uute tehnoloogiate tutvustamine. Kursuse käigus analüüsitakse tööstuse arengusuundasid, uute muundamistehnoloogiate rakendatavust ning nende mõju tööstusele ja ühiskonnale.
Kursuse käigus käsitletakse järgnevaid aspekte jõuelektroonikast ja uutest muundustehnoloogiatest:
• elektroenergeetika (kõrgepingelised alalisvoolusüsteemid, aktiivfiltrid, energiakvaliteedi tõstmine jne.)
• energiatõhusad hooned ja linnaosad, energiajaotlad ning jaotusvõrgud;
• elektrisõidukid ja kiirlaadijad;
• taastuvenergeetika (päike, tuul, lained, tõusuvesi jne.);
• energia salvestamine (akud, ülikondensaatorid, vesinikusalvestid jne.);
• telekommunikatsioonirakendused;
• muundussüsteemid lennunduses ja laevanduses;
• kaasaegsete pooljuht- ning magnetmaterjalide kasutamine jõupooljuhtmuundurites.
