To give basic knowledge and experience for design of concrete structures

Aine läbinud üliõpilane peab oskama:
- arvutada betoonist konstruktsioonielementide kandevõimet erinevate sisejõudude ja nende koosmõju suhtes;
- konstrueerida betoonist plaate, talasid, poste.

- to calculate the load capacity of concrete structural members under the influence of different internal forces and their interaction;
- to design concrete plates, beams, columns.

Teoreetiline osa:
Betooni ja armatuuri põhilised füüsikalis-mehaanilised omadused. Betoon¬elementide arvutamise alused. Painutatud, surutud ja tõmmatud elemendi ristlõike tugevusarvutus. Surutud elemendi saleduse arves¬tamine. Põikjõukandevõime- ja läbisurumisarvutus. Betoonelementide konstrueerimisjuhised. Monoliitsete vahe¬lagede arvutus ja konst¬ruee¬rimine.
Kursuseprojekt - Monoliitsest raudbetoonist mitmekorruselise tööstushoone kande¬konstruktsioonide projekt:
Hoone konstruktiivse skeemi koostamine, elementidele mõjuvate koormuste määramine. Vahelaeplaadi, talade, postide ja vundamentide staatilised arvutused, nende dimensioonimine ja konstrueerimine. Vahelae, posti ning vundamendi tööjooniste koostamine. Armatuuri spetsifikatsiooni koostamine ja materjalikulu määramine.
brief description of the course in English
Theoretical part:
Physical-mechanical properties of concrete and reinforcing steel. Principles of calculation of concrete members. Strength calculation of cross-section of members subjected to bending, compression and tension. Consideration of slenderness of compressed member. Shear and punching calculation. Detailing of members. Calculation and detailing of reinforced concrete slabs.
Course project - Project of structures of cast-in-place multi-story industrial building:
Analysis of the building, evaluation of the loads acting to members. Static calculations of slabs, beams, columns and foundations and their design. Composing of work drawings of floor structures, columns and foundations. Specification of reinforcing steel and determination of need of materials.
