Õppeaine positiivse tulemusega sooritanud üliõpilane:

- Suudab anda ülevaate praktikaettevõttest.
- Tunneb praktikaettevõttes kasutatavat tehnoloogiat ning keskkonnaprobleeme.
- Oskab siduda teooriat ja praktikat.
- On omandanud meeskonnatöö kogemuse.
- On valmis aktiivselt osalema kodanikuühiskonnas ning suhtuma sallivalt hoiakute ja väärtuste mitmekesisusse.

The student who has accomplished the course with a positive result:

- Is able to give overview of the company or institution
- Is familiar with technologies used at the company or institution and the existing environmental problems.
- Is able to link theory and practice.
- Has acquired teamwork experience.
- Is ready to participate actively in civil society and tolerate diversity in attitudes and values.

Praktika tuleb sooritada praktikandi iseseisva tööna talle sobivas kohas ja sobival ajal enne õpingute lõpetamist.
Reeglina valivad praktikakoha ja -aja üliõpilased ning kooskõlastavad selle kuraatoriga. Praktikakuraator annab nõu, kooskõlastab ja arvestab praktika. Praktikaprotsessis toimub teoreetiliste teadmiste kinnistamine ja tööalaste vilumiste omandamine. Osaletakse konkreetses tööprotsessis. Põhimõtteliselt toimub töö üliõpilastega nii ülikoolis kui ka praktikakohas individuaalselt. Pärast praktika lõppemist koostab üliõpilane aruande, mis on kokkuvõtteks praktikandi tegevuse kohta ettevõttes (asutuses), ning esitab lühiettekande praktikaseminaril.

In the process of practice, the theoretical knowledge is acquired and the acquisition of professional skills is taken. The student participates in a specific workflow. In principle, work with students at the university and at the internship is done individually. After completing the practice, the student prepares a report summarizing the trainee's activities in the company (institution), and gives a short presentation at the workshop.
