learning outcomes in the course in Est.
Üliõpilane:
- Tunneb vett, kui keemilist ühendit. On teadlik vee erandlikest omadustest ning nende omaduste tähtsusest ümbritseva looduskeskkonna jaoks,
- Tunneb veekeskkonnas toimuvate keemiliste protsesside põhiprintsiipe,
- Teab peamisi veekvaliteedi hindamiseks kasutatavaid füüsikalis-keemilisi näitajaid ning oskab antud suuruste järgi teha järeldusi vee kvaliteedi kohta,
- Tunneb peamisi meetodeid veekvaliteedi näitajate määramiseks ning suudab mõningaid analüüse iseseisvalt läbi viia,
- Teab peamisi mikrobioloogia mõisteid ja aluseid,
- Teab looduslike vete koostise kujunemise protsesse,
- Teab põhilisi heitvee (olme-, tööstus-, põllumajandus-) liike, nende tekkeallikaid ja koostist.
learning outcomes in the course in Eng.
The student:
- knows water as a chemical substance, Is aware of the exceptional features of water and the significance of these features for the surrounding environment;
- knows the basic principles of chemical processes taking place in aquatic environment;
- knows the main physical-chemical parameters that are used for characterizing water and is able to make conclusions on water quality based on these parameters;
- knows the main methods for determining water quality and is able to conduct some analyses independently himself/herself;
- know the basic terms and principles of microbiology;
- knows the processes of formation of the contents of natural water;
- knows the main types of waste water (municipal (household), industrial, agricultural), the sources and content of of those.
brief description of the course in Estonian
