Anda teadmised hoonetes vajalikku siseõhutemperatuuri ja soojuskoormust mõjutavatest teguritest, nende mõjust küttesüsteemide valikule, erinevatest kütmisviisidest ja küttesüsteemi liikidest, nende toimimispõhimõtetest ja koostisosadest, erinevate küttesüsteemide soojuslikust ja hüdraulilisest käitumisest. Käsitletakse küttesüsteemide kujundamise alustõdesid, küttesüsteemi ülesehitust ja koostisosade valiku printsiipe ning arvutusmeetodeid.

Knowledge about factors influencing the indoor temperature and heating capacity, the choice of heating systems, methods of heating and different type and principles of operating the heating systems, components of heating system. Basics of planning and designing the heating systems, calculation of different ingredients. The factors influencing on proper and effective operation of heating system, the solutions for better performance. During the course some laboratory study and design of heating system will carried out.

Üliõpilane on omandanud:
- Baasteadmised küttesüsteemide valikut mõjutavatest teguritest, erinevatest küttesüsteemidest ja nende toimimispõhimõtetest;
- teadmised erinevate küttesüsteemide töö analüüsimiseks ja projekteerimiseks;
- praktilised esmased oskused: küttesüsteemide hüdrauliline tasakaalustamine;
Üliõpilane:
- Oskab analüüsida olemasolevaid küttesüsteeme, hinnata nende vastavaust kaasaja nõuetele;
- Oskab hinnata kõrvalekallete põhjusi küttesüsteemide nõuetekohasest tööst;
- Oskab arvutada küttesüsteemide tööparameetreid ja muid näitajaid;
- Oskab dimensioneerida ja valida materjale ning seadmeid;
- Oskab projekteerida hoone küttesüsteeme.

- Basic knowledge about factors influencing the choice of heating systems, about different type and principles of operating the heating systems;
- Necessary knowledge for analysing and designing different type of heating systems;
Student has:
- Practical basic skills: hydronic balancing of heating system;
- Know-how for analysing and evaluating an existing heating systems;
- Know-how for troubleshooting of heating systems;
- Know-how for calculating and designing of heating systems.

Küttesüsteemide liigitus. Koht- ja keskküte. Sund- ja loomulik ringlus. Vesi-, õhk- ja aurküttesüsteemid. Kiirgus- ja konvektiivküte. Põrand- , sein- ja lagiküte. Gaas-ja elekterküte. Vesiküttesüsteemide hüdraulika ja soojuslik toimimine. Küttekehad, nende liigitus, valik ja soojusväljastust mõjutavad tegurid. Küttesüsteemides kasutatavad torud ja seadmed. Reguleer-, ja tasakaalustus- ja seadmeventiilid. Ventiile iseloomustavad näitajad, nende valikut mõjutavad tegurid. Hüdrauliline tasakaalustamine: staatiline, dünaamiline. Soojusväljastuse reguleerimine, termostaatventiil. Õhuga seotud probleemid ja lahendused. Rõhu dünaamika ja õige rõhk kaasaegsetes küttesüsteemides

Types of heating systems. Local and central heating. Pump and natural circulation. Water, air and steam heating. Radiant and convective heating. Underfloor, wall and ceiling heating systems. Gas and electrical heating. Hydronic and thermal performance of water based heating systems. Heaters, their types and calculating, the factors influencing thermal performance of heaters. Pipes and other ingredients of heating system. Control balancing and presetting valves. Characteristics and sizing these valves. Hydronic balancing: manual and dynamic balancing. Heating output and thermostatic radiator valve. Air in the system: problems, solving. Pressure dynamics and right pressure in the heating system.

Hindamine toimub kirjaliku eksamiga. Eksamile saamise eelduseks on teostatud laboratoorsete tööde aruannete esitamine ja edukalt kaitstud kütteprojekt. Kursuse käigus tehtavate kontrolltöödega on võimalik saada eksamiks lisapunkte.

Laboratoorsete tööde arvutuste tegemine ja vormistamine rühmatööna. Kütteprojekti koostamine. Iseseisev tutvumine vajalike normdokumentidega, vajalikud arvutused seadmete valikuks süsteemi häälestamiseks. Vormistamine, nõuetekohane seletuskiri ja joonised.
