Üliõpilane:
- teab peamisi liimide tüüpe, pinnaettevalmistus ja tööstuslikke tehnoloogiaid puidu, plastide ja tekstiilmaterjalide liimimiseks.
- teab peamisis pinnakattematerjale, pinnaettevalmistus- ja pinnaviimistlustehnoloogiaid puit, plast ja tekstiilmaterjalide viimistlemiseks.

- know main glue types, surface preparation and industrial technologies used for gluing of wood, plastic and textile materials
- know main production technologies used for finishing of wood, plastic and textile materials
- have a systematic overview of technological possibilities of main equipment to prepare glued joints and for finishing wood, plastic and textile products

Sissejuhatus materjalide liimimistehnoloogiatesse. Liimliite moodustumise põhiaspektid. Liimide koostis ja karakteristikud. Substraatide (puidu, plasti ja tekstiili) ettevalmistamine liimimiseks ja pinnaomadused. Materjalide geomeetria mõjurid. Liimide pealekandmise karakterisitikud. Liimliite moodustumine ja liimi kõvenemine. Kvaliteedi kontroll. Liimliite tugevuse testimine. Peamiste probleemide ennetamine.
Peamised turul olevad puidu. plasti ja tekstiili pinnakattematerjalid. Esmased pinnakattematerjalide toorained: kile moodustajad, vaigud ja polümeerid, sideained. Teisesed pinnakattematerjalide toorained: lahustid, lisa- ja värvained. Pinnakatete klassifikatsioon ja moodustumise viisid. Pinnakatete omadused ja testimine. Turuvajadus tööstuslike dekoratiivsete pinnakattematerjalide järele. Pinna ettevalmistus pinnakattematerjalide pealekandmiseks ja kasutatavad tehnoloogiad. Kile modoustumine, kuivamine ja kõvenemine. Testid 10%, Kodutöö 10%, Osaeksam I (40%) semestri keskel materjalide liimimistehnoloogiate peale, Osaeksam II (40%) semestri lõpus materjalide viimistlustehnoloogiate peale, mõlemad osaeksamid tuleb sooritada vähemalt 51% maksimaalsest võimalikust.
