Anda ülevaade mööblitööstuse kasutatavatest materjalidest ja nende töötlemistehnoloogiatest ja seal kasutatavatest seadmetest järgmistes protsessides: plaatmaterjalide lahtilõikus, servapealistus ja detailide lõiketöötlemine; prusstoorikute töötlemine, puidu ja vineeri painutamine, puidu viimistlemine, mööbli koostamine ja katsetamine. Anda praktiline kogemus erinevate probleemide lahendamisel mööbli projekti teostamise käigus.
course aims in English
To give an overview of main production technologies of furniture industry: cutting and splitting of different plate materials, processing of bar blanks, bending of wood and plywood, edge banding technologies, finishing technologies, assembly of the furniture products and testing of furniture products. To give practical experience for solving diferent problems in furniture project.

- tunneb peamisi mööblitööstuses kasutatavaid tehnoloogiaid
- orienteeruvad kasutatavate seadmete tehnoloogilistes võimalustes
- oskab kavandada mööblitööstuse toote tootmisprotsessi
- oskab valida sobilikku materjali ning valmistamistehnoloogiat
- kavandada tootmisliini vastavalt tehnoloogilisele marsruudile.
- oskab lahendada tootmise efektiivsemaks muutmisega seotud probleeme ja pakkuda välja tehnilisi lahendusi.

Mööblitööstuse materjalid. Prusstoorikute tehnoloogia. Mööblitootmises kasutatavad seadmed ja nende tehnoloogilised võimalused. Plaatmaterjalide lahtilõikustehnoloogiad. Kilpmööbli tootmistehnoloogia. Prusstoorikute töötlemistehnoloogia. Massiivpuidu painutamine, kasutatavad tehnoloogiad ja vormid. Liimitud painutatud elementide valmistamine Mööblidetailide servapealistustehnoloogiad. Mööblikarkass. Peamised konstruktsioonielemendid, seotised puittoodetes. Mööblifurnituur. Komposiitmaterjalide kasutamine mööbli valmistamisel ja nende lõiketööriistad ning tehnoloogiad. Solid surface materjalid (Corian, Durat jt.). Sandwichpaneelide kasutamine töötasapindades. Viimistlusmaterjalid ja tehnoloogiad mööblitööstuses. Koostamistehnoloogiad, toodete kvaliteedi tagamine. Toodete pakendamine. Mööbliesemete katsetamine. Eritellimusmööbli projektid ja projektijuhtimine. Praktiliste ülesannete lahendamine grupitöödena.

Constructional materials used in furniture industry. Composite materials in furniture industry. Cutting and finishing of solid surface plate materials (Corian, Durat etc.). Using of sandwich panels. Classification of wooden products and quality requirements. Joining of parts in product. The calculation basis for strength and stiffness. Surface roughness and preciseness of parts. Base-surfaces for processing of wood and plate materials. Bending of laminated wood. Technology of wooden cant-form details. Technology of panel-form details. Main construction solutions, joints in furniture making, panels cutting and processing, processing of bar blanks, bending of wood and plywood. Edge banding technologies. The main types fittings used in furniture industry. Assembly of products. Finishing materials and technologies. Industrial equipment of furniture industry and their technological capabilities.
Custom made furniture projects and project management. Solving the practical tasks in groups.
