Õppeaine eesmärk on:
- tuvastada ja analüüsida erinevaid logistika teemasid (nt sisenev logistika, tootmislogistika, transpordilogistika, jaotuslogistika, tagastuslogistika, laondus, militaarlogistika);
- koostada tarneahela kavandamise ja juhtimise protsessi (nt nõudluse prognoosimine, tarneahela modelleerimine, IKT logistikas ja/või tarneahela juhtimises, kvaliteedi- ja riskijuhtimine);
- eristada ja kujundada transpordi planeerimise protsessi (nt prognoosimudelid, transpordi infrastruktuuri planeerimine, ITS);
- saada ülevaade ja uusi lähenemisi sõidukile selle erinevatele osadele rakendatavatest dünaamilistest koormustest.

This course aims to:
- analyze and identify research topics in logistics (e.g., inbound logistics, production logistics, transportation logistics, distribution logistics, reverse logistics, warehousing, military logistics);
- compile and draw up the supply chain engineering and management process (e.g., demand forecasting, supply chain modeling, ICT in logistics and/or supply chain management, quality, and risk management);
- distinguish and shape the transportation planning process (e.g., forecasting models, transport infrastructure planning, ITS);
- get an overview and new approaches of dynamic loads applied to the vehicle to the different parts of it.

Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- eristab ja diagnoosib logistika, tarneahela inseneri ja transpordiplaneerimise uurimis- ning tehnoloogia teemasid;
- struktureerib ja viib ellu tarneahela protsessi, logistikaoperatsioone ning transpordi planeerimist;
- kavandab ja planeerib logistilisi toiminguid ja tarneahela toimivust;
- hindab ja analüüsib sõidukite mitme kerega süsteemide dünaamikat;
- tuvastab akustika põhiprintsiipe ja analüüsib akustilise kiirguse probleeme.

After completing this course, the student:
- distinguished and diagnoses research and technological topics in logistics, supply chain engineering, and transport planning;
- structures and implements the supply chain process, logistics operations, and transport planning;
- designs and plans operations and the supply chain performance;
- evaluates and analyzes the dynamics of multi-body systems of vehicles;
- identifies the basic principles of acoustics and analyzes the problems of acoustic radiation.

Kujundav hindamine. Eksamihinde alus on kirjaliku testi (50% lõpphindest) ja suulise eksami tulemus (50% lõpphindest). Eksamikomisjoni moodustab logistika ja transpordi teaduskeskuse juht.

The examination mark is based on the result of the general written test (50% out of final grade) and oral examination with a board of examination formed by the head research centre of logistics and transportation (50% out of final grade).
