Tutvustada erinevaid tööliike, nende tehnoloogilisi seoseid, kvaliteedinõudeid, ehitusmasinate valiku põhimõtteid ning ohutust ehitusplatsil.

To give an overview of building technology and construction machines and equipment.
Introduce different construction works, quality requirements their technological linkage, selection principles of construction machinery and construction site safety.

Kursuse läbinud üliõpilane:
- tunneb betoonitööde tehnoloogiat ja oskab valida erinevate raketissüsteemide ning betoonimise meetodite vahel;
- tunneb elementehituse põhimõtteid ja kraanade valikukriteeriume;
- omab süsteemset ülevaadet müüritise liikidest ja oskab neid seostada hoone osade ning konkreetsete tingimustega;
- omab ülevaadet puitkonstruktsioonidest, puidu töötlemisest ja kaitsest ning puitkonstruktsioonide montaažist;
- tunneb katusekattetööde tehnoloogiat, katuste liigitust, katusekattematerjale;
- tunneb isolatsiooni- ja fassaaditööde tehnoloogiat, kasutatavaid materjale ja ehituslahendusi;
- orienteerub viimistlus- ja vooderdustööde tehnoloogias;
- tunneb erinevate põrandate ehitamise tehnoloogiat, teab nende liigitust ja materjale, põrandakatete paigaldamise viise ning nõuded alustele ja valmis põrandatele;
- identifitseerib nimetuse järgi ehitusmasina ja määratleb selle tehnoloogiline otstarbe;
- loetleb erinevate tehnoloogiliste protsesside sooritamiseks sobivad masinad;
- oskab klassifitseerida ehitusmasinaid;
- tunneb masinate töötamise tingimusi, tootlikkuse määramise meetodeid ja nende valiku üldisi põhimõtteid.

After completing this course the student:
- is familiar with concreting technology, is able to choose between different formwork systems and concreting methods;
- knows methods of precast element erection and is capable to select a proper crane for particular building;
- understands principles of bricklaying, masonry materials and is able to pick up a suitable solution different types of walling;
- has an overview of timberworks, treatment, protection and erection of prefabricated timber structures;
- knows the technology and classification of roof works and relevant materials;
- is familiar with technology, classification, materials and technical solutions of insulation and facade works;
- understands principles of finishing and tiling works;
- knows the technology of flooring, classification of floors, materials, ways of covering, requirements for bases and surfaces;
- is able to identify the machine and its technological purpose;
- can name applicable machines for certain construction processes;
- is familiar with the classification of construction machines and heavy equipment;
- knows applicable working conditions by types of machines, methods of their productivity calculation and principle of selection for certain works.

1) Betoonitööd. Elementehitus. Müüritööd. Puidutööd. Katusekattetööd. Isolatsioonitööd ja fassaaditööd. Viimistlus- ja vooderdustööd. Põrandate ehitamine.
2) Ehitusmasinate liigitus, tehnilis-majanduslikud näitajad. Masinate valiku üldised põhimõtted. Tootlikkuse määramise meetodid. Kraanade valiku põhimõtted. Mulla- ja vaiatööde masinad ja seadmed. Betooni- ja mördisegude valmistamise ja transportimise masinad. Käsimasinad ja viimistlustööde seadmed.
3) Ergonoomilised, ökoloogilised ja ohutusnõuded.

1) Concrete works. Erection of precast elements. Masonry works. Timberworks. Roof works. Insulation and facade works. Finishing works. Flooring.
2) Classification of construction machinery and heavy equipment, technical and economic indicators. Methods for productivity assessment and general principles for selection of machines. Hoisting machines: stability and principles of selection of cranes. Earthmoving and pile driving machines and equipment. Concrete and mortar mixers and transporting machines. Mechanical hand tools and devices.
