To provide knowledge on (i) geodetic technologies applied for the establishment of roads and utility lines; (ii) components of roads and utility lines, their calculations and setting out; (iii) geodetic works for the establishment of road related structures.

Teede ja trasside elemendid, nende arvutamine ja mõõtmine. Kõverate ja sirgete kombinatsioonid ja nende arvutamine ning märkimine. Geodeetilised tööd teedega kaasnevate ehitiste rajamisel. Teedeehituse geodeetiline teenindamine. Kaasaegsed märkimistööde tehnoloogiad teedeehituses.

Võimalikud harjutused:
1. Ringikõvera elementide ja märkimise arvutused.
2. Üleminekukõverate arvutused.
3. Mitmesuguste teekonstruktsiooni elementide arvutamine ja märkimine.

Components of roads and utility lines, their calculations and setting out. Combinations of curves and straight lines, their calculations and setting out. Geodetic works for the establishment of road related structures. Geodetic service for road construction. Contemporary methods used for setting out.

Prospective assignments:
1. Calculations and setting out the geometry of circular curves
2. Calculations of the transition curves
3. Calculations and setting out of various elements of road construction

Hindeline kirjalik eksam koosneb teoreetilistest küsimustest ja praktilistest ülesannetest. Hinne (0 kuni 5) oleneb vastuse põhjalikkusest ja täpsusest.

The written final exam comprises of practical computations and theoretical questions. The grade (0 to 5) of the written exam depends on the adequacy of the answers.
