VERSION SPECIFIC DATA
course aims in Estonian
Anda põhiteadmised voolusängide ja nende kitsendamise projekteerimise põhialustest, normatiiv-dokumentidest ja voolusängide projekteerimise võtetest.
Omandatud teadmised kinnistakse aine raames koostatava kursuseprojekti käigus.
course aims in English
Giving knowledge about the main basics of streambed design, standards and norms as well as main principles of practical design.
learning outcomes in the course in Est.
1. On võimeline kasutades asjakohast terminoloogiat sõnastama lahtiste voolusängide toimimisega seonduvat ja oskab analüüsida neid seotuna üldiste tee- ja sillaprojekteerimise küsimustega.
2. Tunneb meetodeid erinevat liiki voolusängide projekteerimisülesannete lahendamiseks ning suudab iseseisvalt mõista ja rakendada asjakohaseid normatiivdokumente.
3. On suuteline rakendama teoreetilisi teadmisi väikese vesikonna vooluhulga leidmisel ja truubi ning kraavi hüdraulilisel arvutusel.
4. Kirjeldab suure silla jõesängis toimuda võivaid protsesse ja nende mõju rajatise püsivusele.
5. Teab kuidas arvestada sillaeelsete mullete projekteerimisel vee ja liikuva jää toimet.
6. Teab, millised täiendavad uuringud on vajalikud voolusängis toimivate protsesside hindamiseks ja kuidas andmeid projekteerimise tarbeks töödelda.
learning outcomes in the course in Eng.
1. Is able to use relevant terminology to explain the functioning of open streambeds and can analyze this data in the context of general considerations of the road and bridge design.
2. Knows the methodology for solving the design tasks of different types of streambeds and can independently understand and implement relevant normative documents.
3. Is able to use the theoretical knowledge in order to find the flow rate of a small watershed and for hydraulic calculations of a culvert and a ditch.
4. Describes the processes that can occur in the river bed of a big bridge and what impact these have on the stability of the structure.
5. Knows how to take into account the impact of water and moving ice in the design of bridge approach embankments.
6. Knows which additional studies need to be made in order to assess the processes occurring in the streambed and knows how to process this data for design purposes.
