Kursuse eesmärk on anda toidutehnoloogia valdkonna spetsialistile ülevaade hoonete tehnosüsteemide ehitusest, peamistest tehnilistest parameetritest ja piirangutest ning korrashoiust. Õppeaine läbinu on võimeline koos erialaspetsialistidega koostama toiduainetööstuse nõuetest lähtuvaid hankedokumentatsioone ja andma sisendeid tehniliste kirjelduste koostamisse.

The purpose of this course is to give an overview of technical systems in buildings, main technical parameters and limitations and maintenance. Student who passes the course is capable to compile technical descriptions and requirements for tender documents based on the food technology perspective.

Õppeaine läbinud üliõpilane:
- on saanud ülevaate hoone tehnosüsteemide ehitusest ja toimimisest;
- tunneb ehitiste ja seadmete korrashoiu tagamise põhimõtteid;
- oskab koostada toiduainetööstuse nõuetest lähtuvat hankedokumentatsiooni;
- teab tehnosüsteemide (elekter, vesi, ventilatsioon, küte, jahutus jms) peamisi iseloomulikke parameetreid ja neile esitatud nõudeid;
- on saanud ülevaate valdkonna peamistest standarditest ja juhistest;
- tunneb valdkonna ergonoomikat ja arhitektuurseid ruuminõudeid.

After completing this course the student:
- has an overview of the construction and functioning of the technical systems in buildings;
- knows how to maintain and manage buildings and equipment;
- knows how to compile specific technical descriptions for food industry and technology;
- knows the main technical parameters and requirements of technical systems in buildings (electricity, water, ventilation, heating, cooling etc.);
- has an overview of the main standards and guidelines in the field;
- knows specific ergonomics and architectural spatial requirements.

Tellija/kasutaja kohustused ehitiste ja seadmete korrashoiul. Korrashoiu mõiste, korrashoiu hangete läbiviimise põhimõtted. Hooldusjuhend, korrashoiukava, elektirkäit, seadmete kasutamise ohutuse tagamine, tuleohutus ehitistes. Puhastamine ja koristamine korrashoiu tegevuste kompleksis. Hoone siseste ja väliste joogi- ja reoveesüsteemide ehitus ja neile kohaldatud nõuded. Vee kvaliteedist, kvantiteedist ja puhastusest tulenevad piirangud. Ruumide sisekliima ja selle parameetrid. Õhu töötlemise protsessid. Hoone küte, ventilatsioon ja jahutus ning selle energiatarve. Tehnoloogilise soojuse utiliseerimine. Tehnosüsteemide juhtimine. Elektrienergiavarustuse alused. Elektrivarustus hoonetes ja asjakohased nõuded. Elektriohutus. Nõrkvoolu- ja elektriautomaatikasüsteemide komponendid. Ruumide planeerimine ning neile esitatavad nõuded.

Obligations of the user on the maintenance of buildings and equipment. The concept of maintenance, the principles of maintenance procurement. Maintenance instructions, maintenance plan, electrical operation, ensuring the safety of the use of equipment, fire safety in buildings. Cleaning and tidying in the complex of maintenance activities. Construction of drinking water and sewer systems inside and outside of buildings. Requirements and limitations based on water quality, quantity and purification. Indoor climate and main parameters. Air treatment processes. Heating, ventilation and cooling in buildings, concurrent energy consumption. Utilization of technological heating. Operation of technical systems in buildings. Basics of the electric energy supply. Electric supply in buildings and respective requirements. Electric safety. Components of the low-power supply and electric automation systems. Requirements for designing architectural plan layouts.
