• oskab selgitada MTS-i tähtsust ja rolli ühiskonna elu korraldamine
• suudab võrrelda MTS-i olemust ja rolli teiste sektoritega
• analüüsib kolmanda sektori rolli avalike teenuste pakkumisel ning poliitikate kujundamisel nii siseriiklikul kui rahvusvahelisel tasandil
