Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- selgitab erinevaid mõtlemise tüüpe ja nende peamisi tunnuseid;
- oskab üles ehitada tugeva argumendi;
- oskab asjakohaselt kasutada teksti loomiseks vajalikke elemente, nagu fakt, mõiste, järeldus, argument;
- väldib argumenteerimises loogika- ja argumenteerimise vigu;
- oskab koostada erinevate funktsioonidega kirjalikke ja suulisi tekste.

- explains different types of thinking and their main characteristics;
- can build up strong arguments;
- uses skilfully elements of a good argument like fact, concept, premises and conclusion;

Kursus tugevdab üliõpilaste kommunikatsioonioskuseid. Kursus koosneb erinevatest teksti mõistmiseks ja loomiseks ning hea argumendi ülesehituseks vajalikest komponentidest. Kursuse jooksul tutvutakse mõtlemist ja kõnet käsitlevate teoreetiliste seisukohtadega, analüüsitakse eri tüüpi tekste ning argumente, luuakse ning analüüsitakse eri funktsioonidega tekste.

The main aim of the course is to strengthen the communication skills of students. During the course, the components necessary for good argumentative text are in the scope. Students acquire knowledge about theories of thinking, and they analyse and create different types of texts.
