1. Õppeaine läbinud õppur oskab sooritada enamlevinud haldustoiminguid (kasutajate -, tarkvara -, ketaste -, protsesside ja teenuste haldamine) GNU/Linuxis ja MS Windowsis.
2. Õppeaine läbinud õppur mõistab ja oskab selgitada operatsioonisüsteemide põhimõisteid ja turvalisuse aspekte.
