Kursus annab üliõpilasele vajalikud teadmised ja oskused, kuidas seadistada ning lahendada probleeme, mis on seotud marsruuterite, kommutaatorite ja juurdepääsupunktidega nii väiksemates kui ka suuremates arvutivõrkudes. Lisaks käsitletakse keerulisemaid teemasid, mis on seotud marsruutimise, turvalisuse, WAN, arvutivõrgu disaini, haldamise ning automatiseerimisega.

This course starts with teaching students the required knowledge and skills in configuring and troubleshoot routers, switches and access points for small and enterprise networks. Then students will learn advanced topics related with routing, security, WAN, network design, management and automation.

Õppeaine läbinud üliõpilane:
- rakendab VLAN’e kommuteeritud võrgus ja teostab veatuvastust VLAN’ide vahelises marsruutimises Layer 3 seadmetel;
- rakendab STP kommuteeritud võrgus ja selgitab, kuidas FHRP pakub vaikelüüsi teenuseid käideldavas arvutivõrgus;
- rakendab DHCP IPv4 ja IPv6 protokolle ning juurutab WLAN, kasutades traadita marsruuterit ning WLC;
- rakendab OSPFv2 üksik- ja mitmikühendusega arvutivõrkude vahel;
- rakendab IPv4 ACL’e võrguliikluse filtreerimiseks ning haldusliideste turvamiseks;
- selgitab skaleeruva võrguarhitektuuri omadusi ning kuidas kasutatakse WAN, VPN, IPsec erinevate arvutivõrkude ja kaugligipääsu ühenduste juures.

After completing this course, the student:
- configures, secures, and troubleshoots switched networks, VLANs, Inter-VLAN routing and trunking;
- implements STP, link-aggregation, FHRP protocols in a switched network;
- implements DHCP for IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, WLANs, WLC and static routing;
- implements single-area OSPFv2 in both point-to-point and broadcast multiaccess networks;
- implements IPv4 ACLs, NAT and network management protocols for enterprise networks;
- explains scalable network architectures and how WAN, VPN, IPsec, virtualization and automation can be used to satisfy business requirements.

Kursus on jaotatud kaheks osaks:

Esimeses osas käsitletakse väikese arvutivõrgu marsruuterite, kommutaatorite ning juurdepääsupunktide arhitektuuri, komponente ja tööpõhimõtteid. Tudeng omandab teadmised marsruuterite, kommutaatorite ning juurdepääsupunktide algseadistamise kohta. Esimese osa lõppedes on tudeng võimeline seadistama ning lahendama tüüpilisemaid probleeme, mis seotud marsruuterite, kommutaatorite ning juurdepääsupunktidega. Tudeng oskab lahendada levinumaid probleeme, mis on seotud ühenduste agregeerimise ja liiasusega, lüüsi käideldavusega, kommutaatorite turvalisusega, DHCP teenustega, virtuaalprivaatvõrkude vaheliste ja virtuaalprivaatvõrgu siseste ruutingutega nii IPv4 kui IPv6 arvutivõrkudes. See on järjekorras teine ettevalmistuskursus ettevalmistamaks CCNA sertifikaadieksamiks (200-301).

Teine osa katab keerulisemaid võrgunduse kontseptsioone, mis seotus suurettevõtete arvutivõrkudega. Tudeng omandab teadmised IP marsruutimise, turvalisuse, laivõrkude (WAN), teenuse kvaliteeditagamise (QoS), arvutivõrkude disaini, halduse, virtualiseerimise, automatiseerimise ja veatuvastuse kohta. Kursuse läbinutel on oskused seadistada ja hallata suurettevõtete kontekstis OSPFv2, ACLs, NAT, võrguhaldusprotokolle, VPN ja IPsec lahendusi. Tudeng saab teadmised QoS, arvutivõrgu disaini, arvutivõrgu virtualiseerimise ja automatiseerimise põhimõtete kohta. See kursuse osa on kolmas ning viimane ettevalmistuskursus CCNA sertifikaadieksami (200-301) sooritamiseks.
brief description of the course in English
This course has two parts:

Part 1, describes the architecture, components, and operations of routers switches and access points in a small network. Students learn how to configure routers, switches and access points for basic functionality. By the end of Part 1, students will be able to configure and troubleshoot routers, switches and access points and to resolve common issues related to link aggregation, link redundancy, gateway redundancy, switch security, DHCP services, virtual LANs and inter-VLAN routing in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. This is the second preparation course for the CCNA Certification Exam (200-301).

Part 2, covers advanced networking topics relevant to enterprise networks. Students will learn topics related to IP routing, security, wide area networks (WANs), Quality of Service (QoS), network design, management, virtualization, automation and troubleshooting. By the end of this course, students will be able to configure and troubleshoot OSPFv2, ACLs, NAT, network management protocols, VPN and IPsec implementations for an enterprise. Students will also learn about QoS concepts, network design principles, network virtualization and automation concepts. This is the third and final preparation course for the CCNA Certification Exam (200-301).
