The goal of this course is to develop a detailed understanding of network security principles. And to provide the hands on experience necessary to use the tools and configuration options to ensure the student can harden routers and switches.

Kursuse põhiteemaks on marsruuterite ja kommutaatorite kaitsmine teadaolevate rünnakute vastu. Võtmesõnad - IPsec tunnelid, tulemüürid, virtuaalsed privaatvõrgud (VPN).

The course is about hardening routers and switches from known attacks. Keywords - IPsec tunnels, firewalls and VPN's (Virtual Private Network).

Nädala jooksul tuleb iseseisvalt lugeda kohustuslikku kirjandust ja teha koduseid praktikume. Nädala lõpus teha Cisco keskkonnas „Chapter Exam“.
