- suudab tööplaanist lähtuvalt püstitada tootearenduse eesmärgid ning valida lahenduseks sobivad materjalid ja tehnoloogiad;
- suudab algtasemel kavandada eesmärgist lähtuva tootmise korralduse;
- oskab hinnata ja kirjeldada projektiülesandest lähtuva tootmise keskkonnariske ning teha ettepanekuid riskide vähendamiseks;
- suudab vormistada korrektse projekti aruande, seda esitleda ja kaitsta nii eesti- kui ka inglise keeles.

- can independently implement a Basic project related to materials for life, find and analyse the information necessary for the implementation;
- can set the goals originating from the plan of the development work, and select proper materials and Technologies for implementing the goals;
- can arrange the production process on Basic level, based on the goals of the project;
- can describe and evaluate environmental risks originating from the production and propose measures for minimizing them;
- can prepare correct report of the project, can present and defend it both in Estonian and English.

Projekti käigus kinnistatakse materjalitehnoloogia ja projektijuhtimise alaseid oskusi läbi lihtsama projektülesande lahendamise. Projekti väljundiks on toode või lahendus elukeskkonna materjalide valdkonnas koos materjalide valiku, tootmise korralduse ja keskkonnariskide hindamisega. Sõnastatakse eesmärk ja lahendusteed. Leitakse ja analüüsitakse lahenduseks vajalikku informatsiooni. Valitakse sobivad materjalid, tehnoloogiad ja tootmisprotsessid. Hinnatakse tootmisega kaasnevaid ohutegureid. Koostatakse projekti aruanne ja esitletakse kaitsmiskomiteele.

The knowledge about the materials technology and project management is asserted by solving a basic project task. Output of the project is a product or solution in the field of the materials for life, including selection of materials, arrangement of production and assessment of accompanying environmental risks. Goals and probable solutions are phrased. Relevant information is collected and analysed. Proper materials, Technologies and production processes are selected. Accompanying risks are assessed. Report of the project is composed and presented to defence committee.
