Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- oskab formuleerida probleeme ja kasutada probleemilahenduse meetodeid;
- oskab hinnata riski- ja ohutegureid;
- oskab täiustada ja luua uusi robottehnilisi lahendusi;
- omab praktilist kogemust uue lahenduse projekteerimisprotsessist;
- kasutab tõhusalt ja efektiivselt infootsingu, sh internetipõhiste, andmebaaside vahendeid;
- loob sisu ning oskab kriitiliselt hinnata ja analüüsida tulemust, kasutades kontoritarkvara ja koostöökeskkondi, sh tekstitöötlus-, tabelarvutus- ja esitlustarkvara ning pilvelahendusi;
- oskab vormistada tehnilist dokumentatsiooni ja jooniseid.

Probleemilahenduse osatähtsus inseneritöös ja tootearenduses. Inseneriprobleemid. Probleemilahenduse meetodid. Tööohutuse-alane väljaõpe. Riskihindamise meetodid. Robottehnilise toote moderniseerimine või modifitseerimine selle tarbimisväärtuse tõstmiseks. Robottehnilise toote projekteerimine ja valmistamine. Praktiline tootearendusprotsess. Infootsingu ja andmebaasid kasutus. Kontoritakvara ja pilvelahendused.
