Students will be familiar with financial accounting terminology and concepts, will be able to administer financial accounting in an economic entity and will cope with bookkeeping in a small enterprise. Students will also understand the content of financial statements and to interpret the data disclosed in them.

Finantsarvestuse kontseptuaalsete aluste ja meetodite süvaõpe ning rakendamine arvestuse erivaldkondades. Finantsarvestuse filosoofilised alused. Arvestuse rahvusvaheliselt aktsepteeritud printsiibid ja kontseptsioonid. Raamatupidamisaruannete (bilanss, kasumiaruanne, rahakäibe aruanne ja omakapitali muutuste aruanne) koostamine. Käibevara ja põhivara arvestusmeetodid.

Thorough approach to the conceptual framework and methods of financial accounting and their implementation in different fields of accounting. The philosophical principles of financial accounting. Internationally accepted accounting principles and concepts. The preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, statement of owners_ equity). Accounting methods for current and long-term assets.

Semestri jooksul on võimalik koguda maksimaalselt 100 punkti, millest kodutööde eest 40 punkti; kirjaliku kontrolltöö eest 30 punkti ning kirjaliku eksamitöö eest 30 punkti. Kogutud punktide alusel pannakse semestri lõpus koondhinne.

The maximum score during the semester is 100 points, which is divided as follows: up to the total of 40 points for 2 home assignments, up to 30 points for a written test, and up to 30 points for a written examination test. The points scored will be added to calculate the final score at the end of the semester.
