Võimaldada üliõpilastel planeerida ja/ või praktiliselt läbi teha ettevõtlusprotsess tehnoloogial põhineva äriidee rakendamiseks ja/või tehnoloogiaettevõtte asutamiseks (meeskonnatööna ja interdistsiplinaarse õppena). Anda üliõpilastele võimalus omandada teadmisi ja saada praktilisi kogemusi erinevate tehnoloogiatel põhinevate äriideede kommertsialiseerimisest.

Enable students to plan and/or go in practice through the entrepreneurship process to implement a technology based business idea and/or set up a technology enterprise (teamwork and interdisciplinary study). Provide students an opportunity to acquire knowledge and get practical experiences in commercialisation of various technology based business ideas.

Üliõpilane:
1. Hindab tehnoloogia valdkonna ärivõimalusi rahvusvahelises ettevõtluskeskkonnas;
2. Arendab tehnoloogia äriideed ja ärimudelit ning planeerib ettevõtte põhiprotsesse;
3. Testib äriidee sobivust valitud turule;
4. Kavandab tehnoloogia ettevõtte turundustegevused ja strateegiad;
5. Kavandab ja põhjendab tehnoloogia äriidee äriplaani;
6. Esitleb äriideed, kaasab partnereid ja investoreid.

Klientide probleemide määratlemine. Ärivõimaluste avastamine. Äriideede väljatöötamine ja hindamine. Ettevõtluskeskkonna ja tegevusvaldkonna mõjutegurid ning arengutrendid kodu- ja välisturul.
Ettevõtte elutsükli etapid ja nende eripära, ettevõtlusprotsess. Kasvu probleemid ja -võimalused, nende tugevad ja nõrgad küljed. Ettevõtlusest väljumine (exit). Ettevõtluse tugisüsteem/start-up ökosüsteem. Intellektuaalomand. Teadustööde ja tehnoloogiate kommertsialiseerimine. Äriidee arendamiseks ressursside leidmine, meeskonna moodustamine ja juhtimine. Toote / teenuse disain ja arendus. Ärimudeli loomine lähtudes väliskeskkonnast kodu- ja välisturul. Minimaalselt elujõulise toote valmistamine (MVP, prototüübi vm vormis). Äriidee testimine potentsiaalsetel klientidel. Klienditagasiside analüüs. Prototüübi edasiarendamine arvestades turu-uuringu tulemusi. Turu segmenteerimine ja endale sobivate segmentide valik. Turundusstrateegia ja turundusmeetmestiku väljatöötamine. Müügistrateegiad ja esimese müügi tegemine. Hinnastrateegia ja müügiprognoosi koostamine. B2B turunduse eripära. Välisturud ja eksport. Rahvusvaheline turundus. Ettevõtte strateegia väljatöötamine, erinevate tasandite strateegiate roll, kokkusobivus ja valikud. Äriplaani vajadus, ülesehitus ja koostamise põhimõtted. Äriidee arendamise protsessis kogutud info sünteesimine ja tervikliku äriplaani koostamine. Majandusliku tasuvuse arvutamine. Majandusarvestus ja finantsjuhtimine. Bilanss, kasumiaruanne, rahavoogude prognoos. Tasuvuspunkt. Omahind. Stardikapitali vajadus ja allikad. Äriinglid ja riskikapitali fondid, riskikapitali kaasamine. Ettevõtte väärtuse hindamine. Defining the clients’ problems. Discovering business opportunities. Developing and evaluating business ideas. Factors that influence the entrepreneurship environment and area of activity, and developmental trends in home and external markets. Stages of enterprise’s lifecycle and their distinctive features; entrepreneurship process. Growth problems and opportunities, their strengths and weaknesses. Exit from entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship support system/start-up ecosystem (entrepreneurship support, incubators, accelerators etc.). Intellectual property. Commercialization of research and technologies. How to find resources for business idea development; team building and management. Product / service design and development. Business model formation. Production of a minimally vital product (MVP, in the form of a prototype etc.). Testing of the business idea with potential clients. Analysis of client feedback. Further development of a prototype, taking into consideration the market research results. Market segmentation. Working out a marketing strategy and marketing measures. Sales strategies and first sale. Price strategy and sales prognosis. B2B marketing speciality. External markets and export. International marketing. Working out an enterprise’s strategy; the role and compatibility of different level strategies. Essential strategic choices. The importance, setup and principles of making a business plan.
