Üliõpilane, kes on läbinud kursuse: tunneb ehitusfüüsika põhialuseid. Teab, millised on peamised piirdekonstruktsioonides toimuvad ehitusfüüsikalised protsessid. Oskab arvutada piirde temperatuuri- ja niiskusrežiimi, hinnata erinevatest protsessidest tingitud energiakadusid, valgustust, piirete mürapidavust. Oskab kasutada erialaseid teatmeteoseid.

Student, who has completed the course: has basic knowledge of building physics. Knows main building physical processes occurring in boarders. Calculates temperature and humidity regime in boarders and evaluates energy losses, lighting, acoustics. Is able to use reference and textbooks.

Ehitusfüüsika mõiste: soojusfüüsika, akustika, valgustus ja tulekaitse. Ruumi sisekliima. hoonete energiatõhusus. Soojusülekanne statsionaarses režiimis. Temperatuuriväli. Joon- ja punktkülmsillad. Piirde soojusläbivuse määramine. Mittestatsionaarne soojusülekanne. Mitmekihilise piirde ratsionaalne kihtide asetus. Niiskusrežiimi hindamine piirdes. Vee- ja auruisolatsioon. Niiskuskahjustused. Ehitustarindi, kütte ja ventilatsiooni omavaheline seos. Laboratoorsed tööd. Projekteerimine ehitusfüüsika valdkonnas. Kriteeriumide valik. Projektlahenduse väärtuse hindamine. Tarindite kavandamise ja soojusfüüsikalise arvutamise harjutusülesanded.

The idea of building physics: heat transfer, acoustics, natural lighting, fire protection. Indoor climate. Energy efficiency of buildings. Heat transfer in steady-state conditions. Field of temperature. Thermal bridges. Thermal resistance of building envelope. Heat transfer in unsteady conditions. Rational arrangement of layers in the wall. Moisture condition in the wall. Water and vapour isolation. Water and vapour damages. Connection between thermal resistance of building envelope, heating and ventilation. Problems of indoor climate in renovated buildings. Design in the field of building physics. Choice of criteria. Evaluation of building design. Design of building envelope, calculations of heat losses through building envelope.
