Ühiskondlike ja majandushuvide vastandumine. Planeerimine kooskõlas säästva arengu põhimõtetega. Ruumi mõtestamine. Eesti ja meie lähinaabrite urbanistlikud probleemid. Linnauuendus, selle korraldus ja tulemused.

The need for planning. History of modern town planning. Democratic vs autocratic planning. Principles of sustainable development in planning. Strategic planning. The interpretation of space. The urbanistic problems of Estonia and neighbouring countries. City renewal, its organization and results.
