Eesti ehituskonstruktsioonide projekteerimisnormid, nende kasutusala, seos euronormidega. Projekteerimise põhimõtted: töökindlus; arvutusolukorrad, projekteeritud kasutusiga, kestvus, kvaliteedi tagamine. Piirseisundid: kandepiirseisund, kasutuspiirseisund. Osavarutegurid. Alalised koormused. Kasuskoormus. Lumekoormus. Tuulekoormus. Muud alaliste ja ajutiste arvutusolukordade koormused. Tulekahjukoormus. Kande- ja kasutuspiirseisundi koormuskombinatsioonid. Kombinatsioonitegurid. Võrdlus teiste maade koormusnormidega.
Kivikonstruktsioonide arvutusmeetodid. Materjalide norm- ja arvutustugevused. Müüritiste liigid ja materjalid. Müüritise tugevus ja tugevusarvutused. Deformatsioonide arvutus. Mitmekihiline müüritis. Estonian structural design codes, their scope, link to Eurocodes. Basic principles of structural design: reliability; design situations, design working life, resistance, quality management in design. Limit states: ultimate and servicability. Partial safety factors. Permanent actions. Variable actions. Snow load. Wind load. Other loads of persistent and transient design situations. Fire action. Load combinations, combination coefficients. Comparison of design codes of different countries.
Calculating methods for masonry structures. Obtaining the characteristic and design strength of masonry. Masonry and kinds of materials. Determining masonry strength and masonry calculations. Calculating methods for deformations. Characteristics of multi-layer masonry walls. Design of construction nodes. Calculation of wall with vertical and horizontal loads. Resilient and rigid systems. Structures with small blocks. Special structures ? retaining walls, stacks.
