Kursuse läbinud üliõpilane:
- analüüsib ja võtab arvesse moodulmajade arhitektuurilist lahendust mõjutavaid asjaolusid;
- kirjeldab moodulmajade elementide ja hoone kui terviku jäigastamise põhimõtteid;
- teeb olulised tugevusarvestused;
- kavandab põhikonstruktsioonid ja detailid;
- arvestab projekteerimisel moodulmajade spetsiifikast tulenevaid peamisi ehitusfüüsikalisi aspekte (niiskusturvalisus, õhupidavuse tagamine, heliisolatsioon);
- arvestab projekteerimisel moodulmajade transpordi ja paigalduse põhimõtteid.

After completing the course, the student:
- analyses and considers the aspects influencing the architectural solutions of modular houses;
- describes the principles of hardening the house elements and building as a whole;
- makes essential strength calculations;
- designs the main structure and details;
- considers the main aspects of construction physics (moisture safety, air tightness, soundproofing insulation) characteristic of modular houses during the design process;
- considers the transportation and installation principles of modular houses during the design process.

Moodulmaja ja selle spetsiifika. Arhitektuurilist lahendust mõjutavad asjaolud. Tugevusarvutused, hoone kui terviku ja elementide jäigastamine. Ehitusfüüsikalised aspektid: niiskusturvalisus, õhupidavuse tagamine, heliisolatsioon. Konstruktsioonilised ja arhitektuursed lahendused erinevate projektide näitel, moodullahenduste näiteid maailmast. Erilised moodulid ja lahendused projektide näitel (nt trepikojad, liftišahtid, rõdud). Tehnosüsteemid moodulmajas ja nende paigaldamine. Moodulmajade liinitootmine. Moodul¬majade transport ja paigaldus.

Modular houses and their features. Factors influencing architectural solutions. Strength calculations, hardening the building as a whole and its elements. The aspects of constructions physics, i.e., moisture safety, air tightness, sound insulation. Construction and architectural solutions on the example of various projects, examples of modular solutions from around the world. Special modules and solutions on the example of projects (e.g., staircases, elevators, balconies). Technical systems and their installation in modular houses. Line production in modular house manufacturing. The transport and installation of modular houses.
