course aims in English
To provide the students understanding of the fundamentals of the electrical drive theory and methods of its application in solving practical problems; the basic knowledge of handling the electrical drive.
learning outcomes in the course in Est.
• Teab ja tunneb elektromagnetilisi ja elektromehaanilisi protsesse
• Mõistab eri tüüpi trafode ja elektrimasinate tööpõhimõtteid ja rakendusvõimalusi, trafode ja elektrimasinate ehitust, töötervishoiu- ja tööohutusnõudeid elektrimasinate käitamisel.
• Kasutab trafode ja elektrimasinate sisselülitamise põhimõttelisi skeeme ja teeb tehnilisi arvutusi
• Kasutab ohutustehnika nõudeid praktiliste tööde teostamisel.
learning outcomes in the course in Eng.
Students obtain the knowledge of the electromagnetic and electromechanic processes which constitute the foundation of the transformers and electrical machines` working principle; of the working principle and the possibilities of application of the different types of transformers and electrical machines; of the installation of the transformers and the electrical machines and the safety requirements while handling the electrical machines. The course provides students with the skills required to draw the start-up schemes of the transformers and the electrical machines; conduct technical calculations; make use of the relevant study materials, reference books and catalogues; meet the safety requirements while carrying out practical works.
