Õppeaine eesmärk on luua üliõpilasele tingimused eelkaitsmiseks kõlblikku valmidusastmega magistritöö koostamiseks.

The aim of this course is to create the conditions for the student to prepare a master's thesis with a level of completion suitable for preliminary defence.

Õppeaine läbinud üliõpilane:
- on teadlikult ja edukalt kasutanud omandatud teadmisi uuringute korraldamisel ja magistritöö koostamisel;
- on teaduspõhiselt korraldanud ja viinud läbi magistritöö koostamiseks vajalikke toiminguid (küsitlused, intervjuud jms.);
- on koostanud ja vormistanud magistritöö vastavalt teadusuuringu põhimõtetele ja EMERA reeglitele;
- on valmis magistritööd eelkaitsmiseks esitama ja eelkaitsmisel veenvalt kaitsma.
- on teadlikult ja edukalt kasutanud omandatud teadmisi uuringute korraldamisel ja magistritöö koostamisel;
- on teaduspõhiselt korraldanud ja viinud läbi magistritöö koostamiseks vajalikke toiminguid (küsitlused, intervjuud jms.);
- on koostanud ja vormistanud magistritöö vastavalt teadusuuringu põhimõtetele ja EMERA reeglitele;
- on valmis magistritööd eelkaitsmiseks esitama ja eelkaitsmisel veenvalt kaitsma.

After completing this course, the student:
- has consciously and successfully used the acquired knowledge in organizing research and preparing a master's thesis;
- has organized and carried out actions necessary for the preparation of the master's thesis (surveys, interviews, etc.) based on research principles;
- has prepared and formalized the master's thesis in accordance with the principles of scientific research and the rules of EMERA;
- is ready to submit the master's thesis for preliminary defence and to defend it convincingly during the preliminary defence.

Magistritöö ülesehituse sisemine loogika. Andmete kogumiseks vajalikud instrumendid (küsitlused, intervjuud jms.). Teoreetiliste allikate ja kogutud info analüüs ning tulemuste interpreteerimine. Saadud tulemuste põhjal praktiliste soovituste väljatöötamine, magistritöös deklareeritud eesmärkide saavutamine. Magistritöö vormistamine vastavalt nõuetele. Ettekande ettevalmistamise ja vormistamise tähtsus ning olulised näpunäited.

The internal logic of the structure of the master's thesis. Instruments necessary for data collection (surveys, interviews, etc.). Analysis of theoretical sources and collected information and interpretation of results. Development of practical recommendations based on the obtained results; achievement of goals declared in the master's thesis. Formalization of the master's thesis according to the requirements. Importance of presentation preparation and formatting and important tips.
