The aim of this course is to acquire knowledge of organizing stevedoring operations, using different technologies in cargo loading and unloading process.

Õppeaine läbinud üliõpilane:
- kirjeldab stividoritööde korraldamise põhimõtteid;
- selgitab erinevate kaubagruppide ümberlaadimisprotsessi erisusi;
- planeerib terminali tööprotsessi, koostab ja analüüsib terminali tehnoloogilisi lahenudsi ning määrab optimaalse lahenduse etteantud kriteeriumitest lähtudes.

- selgitab erinevate kaubagruppide ümberlaadimisprotsessi erisusi;

After completing this course the student:
- describes the principles of stevedoring operations;
- explains the differences in the loading-unloading process for different types of goods;
- plans the terminal work process, draws up and analyses the terminal technological solutions and determines the optimum solution on the basis of predefined criteria.

Sadam, kui transpordiettevõte – sadama/terminali ülesanded ja jaotus, sadama toimimisstruktuur, laadimis-lossimisprotsessi iseloomustus ja variandid, laeva iseloomustus laadmis-lossimistööde seisukohast, laadimis-lossimisprotsessi tehniline baas, sadama/terminali tootmisrütm. Sadama tootmistegevuse näitajad – veosekäive ja kaubatöötlemine, sadama/terminali töö näitajad, tulemuslikkuse põhinäitajad, kauba ümberlaadimise omahind, terminali läbilaskevõime. Tehnoloogilise protsessi iseloomustus – tehnoloogilised skeemid ja nende näitajad, tehnoloogiline dokumentatsioon. Erinevate kaupade laadimise- lossimise tehnoloogia. Kestlik terminal. Terminali planeerimine.

Port as a transport enterprise - port/terminal functions and distribution, port operational structure, characterisation and variations of the loading/unloading process, characterisation of the ship in terms of loading/unloading operations, technical basis of the loading/unloading process, production flow in the port/terminal.
Indicators of the port's productive activity - cargo throughput and handling, port/terminal performance indicators, key performance indicators, net cost of transhipment, terminal capacity.Characterisation of the technological process - technological schemes and their indicators, technological documentation.
