Kujundada oskusi erinevate ühendite iseseisvaks keemiliseks analüüsiks; keemialaboris vajalike üldiste töövõtete omandamine ja kinnistamine; analüütilise keemia kvantitatiivse analüüsi praktiliste oskuste omandamine

Give an overview of main principles of chemical analysis. Introduce basics of quantitative analysis through volumetric and gravimetric methods. To develop skills for the independent analysis of several compounds; to acquire and confirm general lab work methods; to acquire the practical skills of quantitative analysis in analytical chemistry

- teadmiste omandamine analüütilise keemia sisust ja rakendustest;
- analüütilise keemia klassikaliste meetodite ja printsiipide tundmine;
- analüütilise keemia ülesannete lahendamise oskuse omandamine;
- ainete keemiliseks analüüsiks vajaliku meetodi valiku oskuse omandamine.
Praktikumi läbimise järel:
- oskus iseseisvalt läbi viia kaalanalüütilist, happe-alus tasakaalul, kompleksonomeetria ja redokskeemial põhinevat täpset kvantitatiivset analüüsi;
- oskus kasutada analüüsiks vajalikke laborivahendeid ja valida sobiv analüüsi meetod.

- to get acquainted with fundamental methods and principles;

- to demonstrate the ability to select method for chemical analysis of different substances.
After practice:
- to be able to undertake the quantitative analysis of several substances based on gravimetric, acid-base equilibrium, compleconometric and redoxchemistry;
- demonstrate the ability to use labware and to select suitable analysis methods.

Analüütilise keemia eesmärgid ja meetodid. Analüütilise keemia koht tänapäeva tehnoloogias ja elukeskkonna kaitsel. Klassikalise keemilise analüüsi alused. Mahtanalüüs. Happe-alus süsteemid. Redokssüsteemid. Kompleks- ja sadestussüsteemid. Potentsiomeetriline tiitrimine. Kaalanalüüs. Ainete kvantitatiivse sadestamise teoreetilised alused.
Praktikum: klassikalise kvantitatiivse keemilise analüüsi meetoditel põhinevad laboritööd; mahtanalüüs: protolüüsimeetod, redoksmeetod ja kompleksonomeetria; kaalanalüüs.

Aims and methods of analytical chemistry. Role of analytical chemistry in modern technology and environmental protection. Classical methods of analytical chemistry. Titrimetric analysis. Acid-base systems. Redox systems. Complex formation systems. Potentiometric titration. Gravimetric analysis. Basic principles of quantitative precipitation.
Practical lab works based on classical quantitative analytical chemistry methods. Titrimetric analysis: protolysis method, redox method and complexonometry. Gravimetric analysis.
