Tutvustada elementide tähtsamaid anorgaanilisi ühendeid ja anda teadmisi keemilise kvalitatiivse analüüsi algtõdedest, keemiliste reaktsioonide olemusest ja nende koostoimest, anda oskused lihtsamate analüüside teostamiseks.

Familiarize students with the more important inorganic compounds and typical reactions through qualitative analysis on ions, the nature of chemical reactions and their coactions; give skills to performing simple analysis.

Oskab läbi viia katioonide ja anioonide kvalitatiivset poolmikroanalüüsi;
Oskab vormistada eksperimentaalsete tööde tulemusi vastavalt etteantud nõuetele;
Oskab säästvalt ja ohutult kasutada keemialaboris keemilisi reaktiive;
Oskab visuaalselt ära tunda tähtsamaid keemilisi ühendeid.

Is able to perform qualitative semi-microanalysis of cations and anions;
Is able to write laboratory reports in accordance with established requirements;

Elementide tähtsamad ühendid ja nende keemilised omadused; ülevaade põhitõdedest kvalitatiivses analüüsis. Elementide rühmitamine keemiliste omaduste põhjal. Katioonide ja anioonide rühmade üldiseloomustus ja analüüsi võtted. Tahkete ainete ja materjalide analüüs. Laboratoorsete tööde loetelu haarab katioonide süstemaatilist ja ositi analüüsi rühmade kaupa, anioonide analüüsi ning kursuse võtab kokku lõputöö.
brief description of the course in English
The course introduces the more important elements, their chemical properties; basic requirements of qualitative analysis; groups of elements; groups of cations and anions and their analysis methods; analysis of solids and materials. The laboratory experiments include systematic and subset analyses of aqueous cations groups, analysis of anions and final assessment work.
